Sarah Erdreich

Sarah Erdreich received a B.A. from the University of Michigan in creative writing and literature and an M.A. from Emerson College in publishing. After years in the editorial world she discovered her latent reproductive justice activist and is currently working on Generation Roe, a book about pro-choice activists and providers. When not engaging complete strangers in conversations about abortion, Sarah volunteers at an animal shelter and spoils her ten-year-old dog rotten.

More of Sarah’s writing can be found at Generation Roe.

What is Feminism?
To me, feminism is such a basic, ingrained right that I have trouble verbalizing just what it is. Feminism not just a belief but a way of life that treats each individual as equal and approaches every situation with an open mind and a sincere desire to learn and understand.

What is choice?
Choice is fundamental; it is the capacity to determine what is best for your own life and the strength to follow through regardless of opposing viewpoints. Choice is trusting yourself, and not telling others that they shouldn’t trust their own decisions and feelings.
